[EN] Critical Spatial Politicss, Confrontational Performance & Materialized Resistance
Artistic Position
Art is not a passive consumer good engineered for pristine white gallery walls. It is a calculated disruption of systemic routines, a vehicle of institutional friction, and an unyielding investigative process. My practice operates at the intersection of long-duration performance art, structural intervention, and critical spatial politics.
Rather than creating safe, participatory dialogues, I weaponize site-specific interventions to expose, dismantle, and systematically sabotage the invisible power structures, economic complicities, and spatial hegemonies that dictate public and institutional spheres. I do not create art to be looked at; I construct situations that the system cannot ignore and must physically negotiate.
Core Methodologies
1. Critical spatial politics & Spatial Sabotage
Spaces are physical manifestations of economic, social, and political control. Moving beyond a merely analytical "spatial practice", my in-situ interventions and long-duration performances transform galleries, museums, and public territories into hostile zones of ideological friction. By physically occupying, blocking, or altering the performative context of an environment, I force the audience and the institution out of passive viewership and into an uncomfortable, legally or physically unavoidable confrontation with the space itself.
2. From Ephemerality to Object: Transforming the Archive into a Strategic Tool
While my live works are fundamentally rooted in the radical immediacy of the performance, my practice intentionally evolves beyond the limits of pure ephemerality. I am currently developing a rigorous framework to translate my extensive performance archive and documentation into uncompromising, standalone art objects. The temporal urgency of political action is systematically being re-materialized into sculptural sound-objects, monumental scores, and precise visual relics.
This ongoing process of codification ensures that ephemeral disruptions are solidified into permanent, collectible artifacts. However, this transformation is not a concession to the market, but a calculated infrastructural subversion. I position these materialized relics as Trojan horses designed to infiltrate the collections and power centers of capital. By forcing the system to purchase its own critique, I execute a strategic redistribution of resources: the capital extracted from these sales is strictly re-routed and weaponized to autonomously fund future, larger-scale political spacial interventions and actions in the public sphere. The collectible artifact is explicitly commodified to fuel the next sabotage.
3. Acoustic Architectures & Sonic Violence
Sound is utilized not as an auditory backdrop, but as a raw, space-encompassing physical material. Through intrusive multi-channel audio setups, raw frequencies, and acoustic manipulation, I alter body mechanics, trigger historical or collective trauma, and physically distort architecture. Sound operates as an invisible barricade, a sensory overload, or a violent force, dictating how human bodies navigate space and exposing the acoustic surveillance mechanisms of authority.
4. Radical Artivism: Laboratories of Resistance
Outside the protective isolation of the traditional studio, I execute radical action art that actively decenters exclusive authorship. I do not run educational workshops; I cultivate temporary, emancipatory testing grounds for collective revolt. Together, we develop performative tactics to reclaim public territory as a volatile, democratic stage. By transforming collective powerlessness into highly visible, disruptive counter-actions, the boundaries between the artist, the crowd, and institutional boundaries dissolve completely. The friction of the collective act itself becomes the ultimate social sculpture (Soziale Plastik).
Strategic Vision
My work exists to interfere. It deliberately refuses to be conversational, decorative, or merely discursive. Through transnational institutional takeovers, global network activations (the European-Asian Axis), and confrontational curatorial platforms, my vision centers on an uncompromising aesthetic of political and physical hardness. I enforce an art that forces systems—be it the museum, the corporation, or the state—to react, reveal their true nature, and break their silence.
