Ilka Theurich untersuchte Fragen der ENTFALTUNG. Die Performance basiert auf dem Artikel 2 des Grundgesetzes für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland, welche die freie Entfaltung der Persönlichkeit garantiert. Dies geschieht zum einen durch die allgemeine Handlungsfreiheit, zum anderen in Verbindung mit Art. 1 Abs. 1 GG durch das allgemeine Persönlichkeitsrecht bzw. das Recht auf informationelle Selbstbestimmung. Die Entfaltung der Persönlichkeit stellt ein erstrebenswertes, wenn nicht sogar das höchste Gut im Rahmen einer radikal humanistischen Weltanschauung dar. Erich Fromm etwa sieht in seinem Werk Haben oder Sein die Entfaltung der eigenen Persönlichkeit und der des Mitmenschen als das höchste Ziel des menschlichen Lebens an....

Ilka Theurich examined questions of UNFOLDING. The performance is based on the Article 2 of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany, which guarantees the free development of personality. This is done on the one hand by the general freedom of action, on the other hand, in conjunction with Article 1 of the Basic Law by the general right of personality or the right to informational self-determination. The development of the personality represents a desirable, if not the highest, good in the context of a radical humanistic world outlook. Erich Fromm, for example, sees in his work "To Have or to Be?" the unfolding of one's own personality and that of others as the highest goal of human life...
